The Crop Top

The new trend for Spring... Crop Tops! I know some of us hear this and cringe, but the new crop top can be pulled off by anyone. This seasons crop tops are a great alternative to the tight tank tops we've been seeing. They can be worn alone or layered over a tight tank. The best way to pull this off it to pick a relaxed cut and not to bare too much stomach. For shorter crop tops, pair them with high waisted jeans or layer them. The longer crop tops are cute paired with jeans and showing a trim of tummy. Here are some pictures of celebrities looking hot in this new trend...

In this picture Ashley Tisdale is wearing a peasant crop top. She's showing just enough midriff. By pairing this with jeans, the look looks more classy.

Mila Kunis looked flawless in a relaxed crop top with feminine embellishments and form fitting jeans.

If you've been shopping in the last month, you have seen crops tops in the stores. I went to the mall on Friday and saw crop tops in almost every store I went into. I never thought I could pull off a crop top, but I decided to finally try one on and I loved it. I'm already looking to buy another one. Below are some crop tops available in stores now!

These three tops are available at Nordstrom in the BP department. The crop top on the left is a cream romantic crochet and lace version. They layered it with a white spaghetti strap for a flirty look. It is available for $36. The top in the middle is a more casual boxy tee, the drapey knit gives the top movement and makes it layer ready. It is available for $24. The top on the right is a lace inset crop top, it has an asymmetric hem and lace accents. It is available for $34.

Both of these crop tops are available at Forever 21. The top on the left is a more casual take on the crop tee. It is screen printed and gives off a sailor feel, it is lightweight and has a more relaxed fit. It is available for $13.80. The top on the right is also casual with flying raven detailing for a more fun, funky look. It is available for $14.90.

This crop top is available at Anthroplogie for $78.00. This crop top is knitted and knotted for extra detailing. This would be perfect paired with high waisted white pants.

As you can see, crop tops are everywhere right now, and if you aren't too sure about the look yet, go buy a cheaper one at Forever 21 and try it out first. Trust me, you have to try it out, they are comfortable and way cute. So get out there and rock the new crop top!
